Asexuals on Google

Dear Readers,
It has been a while has it not? School has kept me busy, and friends seem to desire my company among them. Yet fear not, the school year is ending for me and I shall be able to update on a more regular and often basis.
Now onto what I was actually intending to speak about, asexual results on google.

As a little test I decided to type in the word Asexual, into the google search engine. I got back about 2,070,000 results.

.....Holy Crap.

On the first page, to my delight, the wikipedia page about asexuality website was the first link that appeared on my computer. The next was asexual reproduction, and the third was the AVEN website. The rest on the first page revered to asexuality as a sexual orientation. This made me happy, considering I was expecting all the results on the first pages to talk about science and asexuality as a way of reproduction.

Now you may be wondering what the point of this post is. I admit that I do not have one. I just figured I should write about something different and about something I did on a whim.

Masturbation and Sex Dreams

Dear Readers,

As I was calmly talking with a few of my 'sexual' friends, a rather disturbing question came up. I was asked if I have ever had a sex dream.

After a few awkward moments, and a bit of thinking back. I can say to everyone that yes. Yes I have had a dream about a sexual encounter.

....Shocking is it not?

The one thing about this dream was that it was not exciting. For all that the dream made me feel, it could have been like dreaming about doing the dishes. I woke up with a vague sense of, "WTF WAS THAT!?" and then rolled over and went back to sleep. It was not something that I would willing dream about in the future. I kind of wanted to split my head open with a hammer and spill the images out of my freakin skull.

Now while I understand how 'sexual' people enjoy these dreams, and I'm totally cool with that. The looks they gave me were rather priceless. The looks faintly reminded me of fish that were trying to find water again. After explaining AGAIN that I am not a 'sexual' person, they had to ask the inevitable follow up question.

"Well you have masturbated before right?"

.............FUCK NO! Why would I even WANT to touch my own vagina? The thought kinda makes me want to puke all over the person who asked me's face. Ewww.... Just.... EWWWWWWW!!!!

With more weird looks coming my way I thought for a moment that I had stepped into a freak show, as one of the members.

OK PEOPLE! Now I understand that you people have lots of fun touching yourselves and playing where did your penis/vagina go... and that you guys love those dreams were you get naked and do the hanky panky and get that skin-boat to tuna-town but seriously readers.... I do not.

Fantasy VS. Reality? Who is the true winner here?

Dear Readers,
I ended up having a most enlightening conversation with my ex-fiance today. He seems to have become rather close-minded about the world as a whole. He insists that I am not asexual and that he is enjoying his perfect little fantasy world so much more then the world around him, and that half the world is fucked up because we made it that way.
Have we really?
Another individual said if we take Religion and hatred out of the equation then there would not be conflict.
But is that really the answer?
Now im not one to judge people, mostly seeing as how i dont like to be judged either, but there are some people in this world that i feel need a reality check. From what i can tell, people need to keep thier minds open nowadays. The world is changing really fast, and people nowadays need to hold on and be open to that change, or else they may get swept away by the tides of change and be stuck in the past. Yes there is alot of things in this world that, if taken out, could make the world better or worse. But isnt there always something new that can come along and take its place? Can we really say that by taking something out, we solve that problem?
Now i cant tell you the right answer, though goodness knows i can tell you what i think, but i do just want to put something out from my point of view and hope that you people will at least think about it.
I think that we need to be open to the changes of today. We need to think things through and make decisions based upon our own morals and try to do what is right in this world. Yes people are the reason the world is bad, but we are also what makes the world good. There is two sides to every coin, and this world is based on which side that coin lands on in the coin toss of reality.

Hello! First post woot!

Hi! I'm Sarah. If you have stumbled upon this blog, you either were very curious, got here through another blog, or are looking for something new.
Anyway, I'm just your everyday Asexual, who decided to write her own blog... No I do not reproduce with myself. I just don't want to fuck anyone. Oh? Are you surprised that I swore? Get over it.
If you have a problem with foul language, me being asexual, or are just bored?
Get over yourself, cause I don't want to hear it.
Being an Asexual means that I find sex unappealing with anyone. I do not want to have it, nor do i see the need for it. It does not mean I reproduce with myself, as painful and strange as that seems.
I do not feel sexual arousal really, though i still feel human emotions. I can fall in and out of love just as easy as the rest of the world. I just dont need sex to do so.
Ill try to post something new everyday, or at least once a week. So look forward to a post that isnt being written late at night, this blog is just ment to inform the rest of you humans that i am not strange, though it may appear that i am, as well as some 'issues' that people may have with people like me.
